Mary Attends Film Festival Honoring Ewan McGregor

I have added some beautiful new photos of Mary attending the 57th annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic. Mary was there to support her husband Ewan McGregor who received the festival’s President Award. In the first video, you can catch a super quick glimpse of the couple’s toddler who travelled alongside the Star Wars pair. He also arrived with his daughter Clara to promote their film, ‘You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder’.

On the red carpet, Ewan was also joined by his mom. Head to the gallery to see all the new pics, including photos of when they arrived and some videos from the event below. I will be adding more photos soon!

‘Ahsoka’ Release Date Announced, New ‘Empire’ Scans and Stills

Disney has announced that the upcoming ‘Ahsoka’ series starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosario Dawson & Natasha Liu Bordizzo will begin streaming on Disney+ August 23. The date was revealed via a new teaser which you can view below:

There is also a brand new interview Mary did in the summer issue of Empire Magazine and I have uploaded the scans into the gallery along with some new stills. In the interview, Mary said she was given specific episodes by Dave Filoni to study the character of Hera.

“There was a lot of looking at episodes that focused on how much she loves to fly, and the way that that turned on her spirit and her energy.”

New Behind the Scenes Photos of Mary During Star Wars Celebration

In the pics, you can see Mary goofing around with a lightsaber, posing with her co-stars Rosario Dawson & Natashia Liu Bordizzo and a lovely gift she signed for David that Ewan also signed. Below is a brand new photo shoot Mary did while attending the Star Wars Celebration 2023 event and I have added the HQ photos into the gallery. The photos come via Rachell Smith for EW. While Mary was at the expo, she also had some fun with a colorful lightsaber!

This officially marks first photoshoot in three years after taking some time off! She also posed with her costars during the second day of the panel which you can view here.

Mary Attends Day 2 of the Star Wars Celebration Expo

As the title reveals, Mary was in London for the second day in a row as she attended day 2 of the Star Wars Celebration Expo celebrating the upcoming premiere of Ahsoka. While there, she was joined by her co-stars Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as well as Jon Favreau, Diana Lee Inosanto, Ivanna Sakhno and Dave Filoni. During the event it was revealed that several different directors will direct episodes including Dave Filoni, who wrote all the episodes.

First Trailer for Ahsoka Revealed, Mary Attends Star Wars Celebration Event

Today was an incredible day for Star Wars fans! During day 1 of the Star Wars Celebration Event held in London, one of the new shows that was announced was Ahsoka! During the panel, Mary’s role was revealed as Hera Syndulla, the captain/pilot of the freight ship the Ghost, and owner of the astromech droid known as Chopper.

Mary was joined on stage by her co-stars Rosario Dawson who will be returning in the lead role and Natasha Bordizzo who will play Sabine Wren. While on stage, the cast showed off the first trailer for the series, which will be premiering on Disney+ some time in August. You can watch the full trailer below as well as seeing some HQ pics of Mary with the cast in the gallery. Additionally, video of Mary’s character reveal was shown to the audience:

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope everyone’s been having a good start to the year thus far. As for Mary news, it has been a little slow, but no worries! This year, we’ll finally see Mary in the upcoming Disney+ series ‘Ahsoka’! Though it’s not confirmed, she’s heavily rumored to play Hera. Time will certainly tell…

In some exciting news, ‘ALL ABOUT NINA’, the 2018 film she starred in with Common is now streaming on Hulu! In celebration of the news, director Eva Vives posted a new behind the scenes photo that featured Eva, Mary and Common, and actress Sonoya. Mary Films New Pandemic Movie ‘Rich Flu’ in Spain

A surprise for us was had when The Daily Mail revealed today (Nov. 10, 2022) that Mary is currently filming a pandemic related movie located within a quarry on the outskirts of Spanish city Barcelona.

Per TDM, Mary is overseas filming the dystopian thriller ‘Rich Flu’ opposite actor Timothy Spall.
You can head to the gallery to see the new photos of Mary on set! In between takes, she spent time with her son Laurie.

Update: Filming had taken place in Barcelona, Fuerteventura, and Senegal, which heralds from Pablo Larraín and Juan de Dios Larraín’s Fabula banner, producers of Spencer, Jackie and No.

Rafe Spall (The Big Short), Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos), Dixie Egerickx (The Secret Garden), Timothy Spall (Mr. Turner), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), Cesar Domboy (Outlander), Dayana Esebe (LA Star), and Richard Sammel (3 Days To Kill) will also star in the film according to Deadline.

Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl and Macaulay Culkin were attached last year but had to drop off due to scheduling conflicts.
