Today was an incredible day for Star Wars fans! During day 1 of the Star Wars Celebration Event held in London, one of the new shows that was announced was Ahsoka! During the panel, Mary’s role was revealed as Hera Syndulla, the captain/pilot of the freight ship the Ghost, and owner of the astromech droid known as Chopper.
Mary was joined on stage by her co-stars Rosario Dawson who will be returning in the lead role and Natasha Bordizzo who will play Sabine Wren. While on stage, the cast showed off the first trailer for the series, which will be premiering on Disney+ some time in August.
