Mary Sets Her Sights on Broadway’s ‘Dying City’

In some VERY exciting news, it has been announced that Mary will take on the female lead role in Second Stage’s off-Broadway revival of Christopher Shinn’s 2007 Pulitzer-finalist play Dying City.

Directed by Lila Neugebauer, the production will feature Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Kelly and Colin Woodell as Craig and Peter. The compassionate and intimate play is set in a sparse Manhattan apartment, where a young widow receives an unexpected visit from the twin brother of her deceased husband. DYING CITY explores the human fallout of global events, including the Iraq War and the terrorist attacks of 9/11, through the interwoven stories of three unforgettable characters.

DYING CITY will begin previews May 14, 2019 at the Tony Kiser Theater (305 West 43rd Street) and will officially open on June 3, 2019 and run through June 30, 2019.

Tickets for DYING CITY are now on sale. Single tickets are priced $59 – $79 and are available by calling the Second Stage Box Office at 212-246-4422 or visiting 2ST.com. A limited number of $30 Under 30 tickets are available in advance to those ages 30 and under with proper identification.

I’m so happy for Mary!! She’s bound to get some amazing reviews and hopefully an award or two once the play is completed!
