Mary Starring in New Cinemax Show!

Woah. This is amazing news…and unexpected! The Wrap has just reported that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been cast on the Cinemax drama pilot, “Quarry,” opposite star Logan Marshall Green.

She will play Joni, Quarry’s (Green) wife, who is one of the few who stands by her husband after her returns from the Vietnam War.

Written by Graham Gordy and Michael D. Fuller, the project follows Quarry, a Vietnam vet who evidently learned his lessons all too well during his time overseas. Now he’s home, earning a living as a cold, remorseless hitman, taking orders from a man called simply The Broker (Stellan Skarsgard).

Directed by John Hillcoat, the project is based on Max Allen Collins’ pulp detective novels and it’s set in the 70s.

Congrats, Mary!! This sounds really exciting!
